Defining the brand identity for the world’s largest social feed located in the heart of Times Square.
PixelStar is TSX’s flagship interactive program that empowers anyone in the world to upload their own video or photo on the TSX app and schedule a 15-second slot to play on the massive TSX billboard in Times Square. Those who aren’t in New York can still upload their content and view from the live stream.
The brand identity needed to be fresh and friendly to appeal to a worldwide audience.
The typeface is a clean, contemporary monotype with a distinctive lowercase a and r that reinforces the brand’s approachability. The vibrant color palette brings PixelStar to life, reflecting the joyful energy associated with the program.
The identity offers flexibility with its interchangeable colors and marks to convey the many personalities taking over Times Square. Now anyone can be a star.
